For many people life without mobile phones or Internet seems impossible for many people. That’s why choosing a high quality mobile provider is one of the most important things to do. And making a choice is never easy. There are so many providers! When thinking about what company’s subscriber to become, some people rely on advertisement, others on friends’ recommendations and some just choose the largest and most popular company.
Rogers Wireless is the largest provider of cell phone connection in Canada. The company was established in 1983. Rogers Wireless offers Smart Home monitoring systems, Internet connection, TV ad home services, and a wide selection of cell phone connection services. The amount of company’s subscribers is over 9 million people.
There are many reviews and news about Rogers Wireless in the web. For example, recently the company has announced about its intention to invest $80 million into its Maritimes wireless. On the 2nd of June company’s representatives announced that investment will improve P.E.I. coverage. The president of Rogers Wireless Atlantic Canadian subsidiary, Ken Marshall, said that consumers in Maritime will get the best Internet speed that mobile phones can have. "We have identified a number of sites with our engineers and we want to see where we can improve coverage. We're working on some specific sites where we think that's required. And we're listening to our customers and listening to the engineering folks who are out there testing our service," he said. Investing money will also help to improve the quality of services in country areas.

The company is planning to find new places on Prince Edward Island. Rogers Wireless aims to make coverage there better than it is now. Approximately, improvements will last for 2 years. After this period of time Rogers Wireless will have 94% coverage all over the Maritimes.
Today, Rogers Wireless is known as one of the best Canadian wireless connection providers. The fact the company is panning to improve and broaden its services proves that Rogers Wireless really works hard to satisfy its customers.
But, unfortunately, there are still some customers who are not satisfied with company’s services. The most widespread complaint concerns bad customer service. Here is one of the complaints : "I was offered as incentive to stay with Rogers three months unlimited calling. They didn't mention anything else besides that. Little did I know that Rogers had cunningly signed me up on a three year contract!! You can't imagine how enraged I was when I found out. The conniving, scheming and duplicitousness of it all just convinced me I had to get out....I was done with Rogers and no amount of incentives was going to change my mind. I was in for a mega-ton shock when I called to cancel my services. Apparently I would have to pay 400 dollars to cancel...and you know why....because I was on that three year contract”.

Misunderstandings between customers support and consumers are not that rare. So, as for me, it’s hard to make any conclusions about the company grounded on such complaints. But, anyway, I hope Rogers Wireless will improve not only its connection services, but also customer ones.
